Perfect for sporty riding in wet or dry conditions, the Sportec 01 improves upon the already high performance of its predecessor the M9 tire and stands as Metzeler’s premier supersport tire for the street. The Sportec 01 tire features Dynatread™, the adaptive tread design technology that allows the tire’s sipes to flex and deform. At high speeds, the sipes flex enough to essentially close, resulting in more rubber making contact with the road. At lower loads or speeds (e.g. cruising, rain, city traffic) the tread grooves help disperse water and retain wet traction. The Sportec 01 was built to “grip the dry, own the wet.” – making it versatile choice for everyday street riding, rain or shine, daily commute or sporty weekend ride.
