-Fastback Seat A super clean, custom style with good back support. Cut low for the rider and tapered in back, the Fastback still offers a reasonable degree of passenger comfort. Front Width- 12″ Rear Width- 7″ Baseplate Features: Mustang Softail seats will fit all Softail models except 1999-earlier FLSTS Heritage Springers. All Seats are built on 16 gauge formed steel baseplates. A welded nose tab clips into the frame mount behind the gas tank. The baseplates have rubber supports at contact points and carpet to protect the fender. 1984-99 One-Piece Baseplate: The slotted chrome rear tab on the back of the seat aligns with the threaded fender hole.
