The SSP-G 2nd Gen round canister replaces the restrictive factory muffler with a polished high-flow design that reduces backpressure, drops vehicle weight, and delivers a deeper, more aggressive exhaust note. Made in Taiwan by SSP-G.

Important fitment note: GY6 scooter frames vary between brands (TaoTao, Icebear, Wolf, Bintelli, etc.) — minor bracket adjustment or spacer alignment may be required. Built for carbureted models with standard right-side exhaust layouts only. Will NOT fit fuel-injected models without adding an O2 sensor bung. Verify your engine code before ordering.

Tuning note: Upgrading to a high-flow exhaust changes your air-to-fuel ratio. Up-jet your carburetor main jet by 2–5 sizes and retune your CVT roller weights to match the updated power band to avoid lean bogging.

Installation tip: Always replace the exhaust header gasket when pulling or swapping headers. Reusing a crushed copper crush washer causes exhaust leaks, deceleration backfire, and lean valve damage.
